Activities

The Strategic Leadership Institute (SLI) is an integrated community of game practitioners, moderators, analysts, facilitators and human capacity assessment/development consultants, experts in strategic planning and developing mechanisms for managing transformation programmes and projects that contribute to the achievement of strategic goals.


SLI cooperates with scientific, industrial, educational organizations, scientific-technological, innovative and scientific-educational regional clusters of Russian Federation. SLI activity is the organization of communicative space for mapping (description of the current situation and the image of the future), designing and programming the innovative solutions in the management of scientific, human, educational, innovative and technological potential of organizations/clusters.


SLI teams are formed taking into account industrial, professional and historical-geographical, economic specifics of the customer organization; they provide and accompany all stages of strategic planning — from identification of external challenges affecting the basic processes of the organization and determination of its potentials and "points of growth" — to co-designing (together with the customer management) of complex long-term development programs and mechanisms of their management. SLI teams can also provide services for further support of individual programs and projects.


Main directions of SLI activities:


  • conducting expert and analytical studies (based on own methods and protocols) of resource potential of scientific-educational, scientific-technological (including innovative) organizations / consortiums / clusters in the context of modern scientific-technological and socio-cultural challenges;

  • defining the basis of verifiable (objectified) data about the organization of its strategically important points of growth — building a map of hogh-potential activities, innovative products and markets of their sales;

  • organization, planning (design of steps/stages of work, thematic blocks of group discussions) and methodological support of one-time and periodic strategic sessions with the involvement of external (upon request) and internal experts of the customer organization, management personnel, representatives of professional groups;

  • facilitating, moderating and game-technical support for complex communications in small (3−10) and large (up to dozens) groups of participants;

  • delivering of reports/conclusions that include the results of diagnostic (covering economic, personnel, management and industry-specific parameters of the organization model) and transdisciplinary expert qualitative studies based on the data provided by the customer organization and cumulative databases;

  • evaluating the managerial maturity and potential of executives, individual counseling for executives on the development of managerial and personal-business competencies;

  • designing and conducting customized development programs for management teams.
